When you downloaded the content using CMP, did you commit the content to the TAD? (if you are not sure how to, please ask)

If you have already committed the content, find the trainzoptions.txt file in the C:/Program Files/Auran/TRS2006 folder (or similar) and add the following line at the bottom of that file then close and save it:

-intro=disable

If this fails, it may be that the assets.tdx file is corrupt (It is usually in the C:/Program Files/Auran/TRS2006 folder (or similar). If so, make sure Launcher is not running (use Task Manager to check) then go into the mentioned folder and delete the assets.tdx file. You then need to go back into CMP to recreate the file (It should say 'Rebuilding Trainz Asset Database') - if it doesn't, please reply to this message.

CMP - Content Manager Plus
TAD - Trainz Asset Database

CMP is the user interface for performing operations on the TAD.

hello danny:

an alternate to johns' idea would be to get an extended trainz database repair..
it helps most of the time
