Im having problems starting the game.

Its some sort of "Access Violation" error.

If someone could tell me how to correct this, i would be greatful.

Thanks :)

Add the following line to your trainzoptions.txt file in the Trainz install folder:

intro=disable

Save, then re-load Trainz.

OK.

Has the game ever started sucessfully?

Try loading Content Manager (click Manage Content to access this) and see if that loads.

If it does not, then it's a graphics card issue.

Might also be worth posting some details about your system.

The game was running fine earlier this morning, its not the card.

CMP wont start saying "Make sure youve run trainz at least once"
I already ran it.

That's odd - that should have worked.

The next stage is to run TrainzDiag (found in the Bin folder in the Trainz install folder) and post any warnings/failures shown into a new post.

Shane

Might be worth checking exactly what that access violation said.

There are several variations on that error - the important part is the filename affected (usually trainz.exe,Launcher.exe or one of the .dll files)

Shane

Now I'm baffled.

Adding the intro=disable line (did you make sure you added it as shown?) into the trainzoptions.txt file should have cleared that error.

It may be worth running it in compatibility mode - follow the instructions for running asadministrator, but changing the top dropdown box to Windows XP (SP2) instead of the ticking the box instruction.

Shane

Nope.

Heres the error: Exception @ 0002DBB3 in C:\Program Files (X86)\Aruan\Trs2006\Bin\Kernel_7c.dll
Maybe a faulty install. What disk are you running it from. WARNING: If ran from any other disks than the first one, it will not run properly.
