Trains don't go right to the end of the station...

I have a train that is the size of the entire station, however when I tell the Al driver to load at the station it leaves part of the rear cars out of the platform.

I put a trackmark at the end of the station, but the train still stops far from the end of the station.
I move the trackmark further up away from the station, the train now stops at the end, however only the first carriage doors open.

NEED HELP!!!!

Cheers.

p.s: I would put screenshots of my problem but you can't upload your own pictures from a computer... can you?

It all depends on which stations you use, and the positioning of signals.

If the signal is at the end of the platform and is red, the train will not reach the end of the platform.

Also, if it's a passenger-enabled station, make sure you are using Drive/Navigate To (station)/Load, not Drive/Navigate To Trackmark.

The signal near my station is a few metres after the station and is green. I always use Drive To (station) - Load and the train did not stop at the end, same with Navigate To Trackmark - Load, same thing happened. I did move the trackmark further up and the train did stop at the end but only the first carriage opened its doors...

What type of station are you using? (Name and KUID if possible)

Shane

P.S. To upload screenshots here you have to use a photo-sharing site to host the image, then copy the link from there.

Have you tried a different station type if it is your route/session? That station type is not the best when it comes to AI traffic from experience.

I have and some work, some don't, but the ones that do work don't really fit the scenery with my Australian based route. If all fails, then I'll just shorten the train. Thanks for your help though

I think other people encountering this problem have added a piece of invisible track to the station track to set a track mark past the station end. They have also reduced th radius of the trackmark and then experimented with the location of the trackmark so that the train ends up at the position required.
