Here is my first stupid question:

I was wondering if there are routes and other assets that simulate a professional, real-life train-set layout. Like the kind of rooms you see in Model Railroad magazine?

Anyway,
My Huttel layout is on the DLS and is modelled after this real life layout.
Multiplayer sessions available for it.

A new fad? Usually when I am interested in something, nobody else is. Maybe I should buy a lottery ticket.

Yep, Model Trainz became an overnight success, with people making walls, flooring, ceilings, even stairs to use with their mini-sized modules.
