Traffic Lights 2019 Problem [SOLVED]

Hi everyone.

My traffic lights worked properly with TANE. I’ve just noticed that all my traffic lights have stopped working in 2019. Not a problem I thought, just another pain to deal with.

So let me try to explain and hopefully one of you cleaver guys or girls can give me the answer as I’ve tried to work it out for 2 days.

To see what was going wrong, I downloaded “ATLS Intersection Demo” and built a set of traffic lights within the demo route and tested the lights and they work fine.

So I did the same again in my route and they worked fine. However after 2 – 3 phases all 4 roads stated jumping the lights.

I then check to see if there was any conflict with the other lights in my route and there was none.

I then went back and checked my lights I built in the “ATLS Intersection Demo” route and they worked perfectly all the time.

To build the lights I used the following and settings…

ATLS CONTROLLER TRS19

ATLS Traffic Light TRS19

ATLS Slave(TF) TRS19

“ATLS Traffic Stopper” times 3, No settings
“AJS Track Eraser” No settings
“AJS-TUME Traffic-1-Lanes (Invisi” No settings

So it all looks like this…

So can anyone give me some suggestions please?

To be totally honest I’m starting to lose "steam" with this game?

Harry,

Ensure you have updated to the latest ATLS components. If you have already upgraded, ensure you are using those and not any old ones in your routes. There are changes in how the work with TRS19 compared to other versions of Trainz including T:ANE.

Thanks for your suggestions.

I’ve checked the DLS and can’t see any later versions.

It must have something to do with…

Something in my route as the problem did not happen in the demo route?

Something to do with the ATLS Traffic Stopper? But whats the alternative?

What do you guys think?

Ok I have workout what the problem was. If you upgrade to 2019 then you will have to replace the lights, the controller and the slave, basically all assets that have a setting.

You can use the same asset but they have to be placed and set as new.
