Trackmark ignored by AI

I have a medium sized route with about 30 trackmarks, built in TANEsp2. An AI train commanded to navigate or drive to a trackmark does so successfully except for one particular trackmark: the train will not find the trackmark, or simply drives past it, sometimes stopping after a couple miles and then backing up to it. It is not consistent though, and sometimes works correctly. I tried replacing the trackmark, replacing junctions and track, nothing works. Thanks for any suggestions.

Sometimes when a trackmark is placed on a track, it may not in fact be attached to the track. If there are grass splines, catenary wires in close proximity, then they could attach to these, thus not letting the AI driver 'see' it in the driver commands.

Also, when placing a trackmark, you may have to move it slightly. Make sure when it is re-positioned, that it sits exactly in the centre of the track and not marginly to one side.

Good luck.
Cheers,
Roy
