Tracking Camera functionality issue?

Has anybody else noticed this:

You are "riding" on the outside of an AI train, and just up the line is a camera set to Tracking. When the train enters the "range" of the Tracking Camera, the view changes as one would expect however, when the train leaves the area covered by the Tracking Camera, you are left on the tracks! Earlier Trainz versions returned you to the train.

Yes, I noticed this too. It might be possible, that you are on the place on track, where the consist startet; that I am not sure, I have to investigate further.
