Track question...

I'd like to update the built-in TRS2006 track on my route with some prettier third party content. Am I gonna have to delete all of my work and re-lay it section-by-section, or is there some way to swap it out with the better track?

In TRS2006 there is VistaMare Trainzmap (in extras file).

It has the capacity to change out track types route wide.

I was given tentitave permission to fileshare RTS track (as their webpage server is down). It has a definate European tracksound, that sounds like passenger railcar tracksounds.

I still use MP Track Wood v2, MP Rusty, MP Tunneltrack Dark in yards and switchs.

What is your favorite type of track ? Wood or concrete ... new, or weathered ?

Sorry, I forgot I had made this thread.

VistaMap isn't showing any track, even when I select/deselect the "show all" option. All I see are the camera positions and industries. How would I go about swapping out the track types?

In Surveyor main menu button then about 1/2 way down replace assets button
drag asset name from list to be replaced into LH box & replacement asset into RH box & go from there
