I agree 100%. I had no choice but to mute some of the people on TS and revert to using itrainz chat to communicate when sending trains, which wasn't working correctly at all times today. Overall though I also had fun. Glad to be back doing TOPSIG sessions. Hope to see more people next session!

Save your sessions before sending a train, and when you receive one!
 
I had fun, but I think we would have more fun if it were a multiplayer session that we were doing. I will look into creating a small route to get us started. Maybe Jib can revive his idea of the TOPSIG module route even. I still have my module and I'm sure more can be tossed together soon.
 
Thats good to hear guys. I did notice some iChat issues yesterday before I left. Hence why I called off the session. But if you guys say you pulled it off then way to go!

We will, unless iChat is a brat again, have a session next week. I have made a few changes to the map and added a super easy to under stand sheet to the Map document called "Are you Ready." Its simple and will let us keep track of what you need to do to get involved with iPortaling. When you have completed one of the tasked on there, put a 1 in that box. So when you send your content to Ken, put a 1 in that box. This way it ads up a score and we can see who has 4 points, and who has less. Once you have every thing taken care of and a score of 4, I will put you on the map.


As for the MP idea GN, I've been lurking on UMR a little bit, seeing what the word is on MP, in MP sessions.

But imagine if I persuaded a very important member to attend... someone respected and loved in the community... someone that goes by the name of Euphod. We could talk trainz and signalling and bring our laptops for a TopSig session.

What copy of Trainz? I don't copy anything or give any copies to my friends or neighbours.

If you own Trainz, then you need to register it.

And that would be hard for me, I dont play on a Laptop. I have a decent rig that I play on. And this is not the topic to disuses this sort of thing.
 
 
OK new consist CDPs and dependencies are on my Google drive space. iPortalUPV3.CDP and iPortalKCSV3.cdp + 3 KCS* dependencies. Make sure you get all the dependencies I had some difficulty.
 
Why are we limited to rolling stock? Each of us can only send trains in order of jib's train order. Now If we all made a train of all our rolling stock and made it a consist, then a CDP of that consist and put it in TS train file browser that way we have no reason for not having what every one is using, and Ken don't have to make new CDP's every time you/me wants to add something it will be up to you. (name your consist xxxxx's consist)Mine in the browser.
If you add something then just add the new car or/and loco as a new CDP.
If you don't have Team Speak3 then download it it's free. You don't have to talk on it but it helps, it the quickest way to transfer CDP's and information.

We have always had a restriction even with TOPSIG and I even expanded on it, beside I don't want to have to DL tons of equipment. It is a pain keeping everything straight as it is with faulty dependencies, missing kuids etc... Someone has to be a gate keeper or it will get out of hand.
 
OK a new iPortalFECV2.CDP consist is now available on my Google drive space. Along with that a repaired commodity MWFood.cdp will need to be loaded. As usual download to get dependencies.
