Toggle Traffic

I've looked through the forum but to no avail, yet I think this may be a problem that's been around for a while

I cannot get traffic on the roads other that static traffic.

I've toggled, untoggled and gone throught the user menus but for the life of me I can't get a solution . . I'd be grateful for some help here . . regards

Road traffic is controlled by the -disablecarz entry in the trainzoptions.txt file.

If that entry isn't there, or has a value of 0, then road traffic should run. If that entry has a value of 1 then road traffic won't run.

I suspect there might be other causes for road traffic not running.

Some people find that disabling road traffic improves performance, others (including myself) don't see any difference.
