Ronayne....

This post is not a criticism of you, the intent of this post is to suggest to you and ask that you restrain yourself from posting in so many threads.

While you have said that you are 13 years old, and with the ability here in the Trainz Forums to find yourself on the world stage, your posts may be viewed by other Trainz Community members as somewhat irritating.

While your youth and exuberance and love for Trainz is certainly respected and appreciated, excessive posting may lead to your being ignored...and your future contributions to the Community may not be fully accepted.

So again, please restrain volume of your posts and enjoy the Trainz Community and I look forward to seeing your enjoyment of Trams expand.

Regards and have fun,

Slippery slope there Aardvark, someone is bound to take your well meaning advice the wrong way. New and younger members rarely take advice anyway, I feel it's best to just let everyone be who they are and let the chips fall where they may!

Kind of you to offer the wisdom though...:)

aardvark1,

Lets hope the new youngster takes your suggestions !
When I arrived on the Forum at 6:30 am PT , there were no less than 15 topics in General Trains alone , that had Ronayne as the last poster , over 75 posts in the last day ! Most were one liners , and some 4 month old threads that were bumped .
I am certain he must sleep at sometime and the Forum will return . But , it is difficult for some other member to recieve info when their thread has been moved to the second page by 'waffling' .
I am most certain he will eventually realize how disruptive this type of posting can be . I contacted the mods , and hopefully they will send a polite email on Monday ?

Ronayne ,

I hope you read and understand the purpose of this thread , we are all guilty of getting carried away with posts , at one time or another ? Just realize it can be an annoyance if carried to extremes .
Enjoy the Forum !

Chat

Yes...some feel and think Forums are a chatroom...
Well, since they took away the chat, guess this is the only option isn't it! Better your advise go to the help desk about gettin a way for the people that want to chat a place to do so rather than in the forums since ya'll think it is a bad thing.

I'm in the chat room at the moment, as far as I can tell, it is still there. Not that it is any better a place to use as a waffle house.

There are a few people on this forum who are being rather immature, especially when they send me PM's asking when content will be released, and so far I've had at least three do so. I'm sorry, but being "13" is no excuse to anyone. I'd like to make that clear.

Cheerio,
John

Being 13 is definatley no excuse. I am, and (I think - feel free to contradict me if I'm wrong) I'm reasonably sensible round here.

The older, the wiser (to a point)!

A chat for Trainz? All I ever see in an error page. But then, I retired from chat several years ago, so I don't go into those things much anymore!

Sorry Guys.
I guess I was getting a bit carryed away posting threads.
I try not to post any more threads.

And a few of you are saying that i'm using my age as an excuse.
I'm not! It was to get my point across in another post.

Chris, you just aged a few years by your very mature statement.

We are all guilty of getting carried away.

Enjoy the adventure that Trainz provides. It will keep you busy for many years to come.

You will learn that this community is always willing to help those new to the simulation.

Remember, there is no such thing as a stupid question, except the one you never ask!!

It is refreshing to have a newer point of view on problems that are difficult to fix. Your view will be welcomed.

Pete

Thank you Ronayne (Chris)

Thank you for taking the time to reply to this thread in a very mature and courteous manner.

As I said originally, I hope that your enthusiasm with Trainz continues and that your future contributions will be used by all Trainz and trams users.

Have fun and be safe out there,

Ronayne,

Post/start Threads as often as you desire , as long as you are making a contribution to the Forum , or seeking help from the Forum no one will object . An occasional bit of humor is also acceptable in my opinion ?
You have interputed this thread in the exact way it was sent to you , your maturity is growing , I will look forward to your future posts .

Kudos to yourself and to aardvark1 ---- ,DLR
