TLR & EIT's

Hi Mike,
I’ve been experimenting with the Beta version of TS2022.
The AI seems quite capable of auto-routing consists and managing many situations without either. You may need to review/revise signalling though

Hi buddy i was beta testing TLR but gave up on it. But would like to give it another go. But i am specifically wondering, are EIT's needed for routing. Or does the inbuilt TLR pathing logic, handle everything itself ?

Appreciate the reply thank you.

Mike.

Sorry, I had to rush to stop dinner from burning.
I don't see routing of trains being any different than using driver commands. It can be pretty dumb at times.

Hahahahahaha, mine was burnt, mind it nearly always is buddy :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: .

That is what i thought, but after having a conversation with a fellow Trainz user and friend. I was not absolutely sure.

Many thanks for taking the time to reply (y).

Mike.

Hi,
I've been experimenting with the Beta version, and am now trying the same modifications in the General release version (132284).
So far, the system seems to run quite well (for Industries only).
Single track industries are fine, multi-track industries (like the coal mine) do require the *.gs file to be modified for correct working. Combined Industry and passenger industries don't respond well (probably I'm not good enough as scripting!)
The problem will come where there is a queue of consists (both directions) heading for a single track - the signalling may need to be modified.

Colin
