TLR and steam locomotives with tenders

hiyas ive been playing a round with trainz living railroad and ive found only tank steam locos work with the automatic dispatcher
when i place any steam locomotive that also has a tender the driver doesnt do anything at all
is there a workaroud or fix.
i have trainz plus version 128486

This sounds like a bug to me because there was nothing from what I remember saying use diesels only.

Put in as much detail as you can.

I have run TLR with lovely GWR steam engines with tender using Build:128486, The run around is, as far as I know, not working. Good fun 'tho sending them on their merry way...

i just checked and there is no update for my build unless i do the beta build, but im not sure how stable it is, or do i need trs22 normal build?

It might be the tenders you are using. Not all tenders are configured as tenders, some are just rolling stock, I believe that is a special tag that tells the tender to behave as a tender and stay attached to the loco. Look up tender in this list.

Apologies its taken so long to get back
Ive tried just over 100 different steamer/tenders for many sources, anl, k&l, bdanel, magicman, alex23, barn700, colorado70, etc,etx even bought nv3 payware steamers.
10 years collecting
The only one that works is k&l's canadian t1a selkirk but all that wants to do is head to the closest coal unloader/powerstation and unload its tender then dies lol
If someone can let me know of a working steamer i can download [prefer freeware as im disabled pensioner] to test

If i go into surveyer and take off the tender, the front of the loco works

Specifies that the traincar is a tender.

the config file for the tenders shows either
tender 1
script "lilbtender.gs"
class "lilbtender"
or kind "traincar"
or tender 1
but never together
the cp t1a shows
script "lilbtender.gs"
class "lilbtender" with no mention of kind "traincar" or tender 1 so im confused as a baby raccoon >_<
ive even reinstalled 3x
