Tilting Monorail Cars!!

Is it possible to learn these abilities? :p

Yes it is.

First you need the Banking consists Rule From The Download Station.

Then, you need to edit the monorail car and cab. To do so, first you need to open the car or cab in CCP. Then take out the Max Coupler Gap Category. Then it should work. To make it work, go into surveyor. Put the cab and cars on the beam, and then add the rule. In the rule you need to put in the #2 (any number will work. It depends on what you want the max tilt to be) Then run the route, and it should work.

That was how I did t

Can you make subway cars bank too?

Whoa, I just saw this. Cool.

As an historical note, the original monorail in Disneyland, California did tilt around corners, but it caused problems. When they built the second one in Disney World, Florida (which is what I modeled), they did not tilt them.

Theoretically, the trains are capable of 100 MPH, though the never exceed about 40 in practice. Running flat out, however, they would probably need some level of tilt to hang on the curves.

I'm glad you're having fun with them.

JFE.

Considering how deeply they wrap around the track, there should be no problem holding on in curves, but the passengers might complain about the 3-g maneuvers!

 Claude

The disneyland monorails themselves do not tilt. The track itself is tilted
