Thanks for the very interesting article about your favourite Railway Museum.
We here in the U.K. also have similar projects scattered up and down the country. Though our focus of interest is mainly to do with the bygone age of steam locomotion.
It is interesting to learn about how our two seperate railway systems have evolved over the years.
My contribution is to be found on http://Railwayyana.ning.com
With best wishes.

The history of railroading is certainly facanating to me, and learning about British railways is a new venture for me. I was very surprised to see the A1 Tornado from the Darlington locomotive works! It also seems as though England has had a better excursion history than here in the United States. The greatest excursion runs on mainlines here were Norfolk Southern's steam program and Union Pacific's steam excursions behind world famous #3985. Railroad museums like mine keep the American railroad history alive, if you viewed my video of Wabash #1189, than I will tell you about it. Send me a private message and I'll tell you more!
Cheers, Woody.:)

Thanks for the response

Also for the Railways Museum Website, which I shall use to update on information from time to time.
