Those annoying junction sounds

I have already disabled the default click clack sound, and use custom click-clack sounds on trains, but how to get rid of the junction sounds? It sounds completely unrealistic to me, exspecially at high speeds it sounds like loud "BANG".

Do i have any possibility to disable those junction sounds, or at least change them?

please answer :(

You can't disable the default junction sounds, but if you want to mask them a bit, visit the Romanian Trainz Studio http://www.trainzro.com/ and download their track packs.

You don't even need to replace all your track with their nice-looking track if you already use one you like. All you need is a small piece somewhere and all of your track will pick-up their great track sounds. I happen to use another track, for my mainlines, but some of their track is great for sidings.

Does the RTS tracksound overwrite the junction sound, or will it just blend with the junction sounds?

My junction noises sound okay and realistic to me. Might be the difference in computers and sound cards.

Just my opinion.

I agree with davesnow, I too like the junction sounds,

Although the clickety clack sounds as the train runs along the track, sounds ridiculus, when the train is at high speed, it just all sounds so wrong.

I think N3V should take a look at the track/junction sounds in OpenBVE - while that sim has its own set of problems and wished changes, the track sounds are very convincing, at least for UK track. (I also recommend that they take a look at the illumination effects in tunnels in OpenBVE).

The junction sounds really aren't that bad to me either. The same with the missing frog hardware in the turnouts, which people tend to complain about and is easily added later.

Combine the junction sounds with the rest of the track sounds by RTS, and that's a pretty nice setup as I hear it. :)

I tried, but I can't read Romanian, so I couldn't find the track packs. Interpreter, please?

You can alter the RTS track sound numerals, so they are more in sync with lower speeds.
The tracks are called: Sine CFR v2.0
