It's best if I'm under 30,000 speed trees.

OOOOOh OOOOOh Holly Hotbox ... Friction bearings ! Man they look great.

I hated oiling the CR G38 G39 Jennies ... but they make for a fantastic train !

All those zillions of trees ... how are the framerates ?

Edit: On closer view I see roller bearings ... sorry, I got excited there !

I'm working for 40FPS on an Nvida 560ti, 3500 draw distance, sliders at full to the right. Might have to do some more logging in spots and even drop in a upland meadow to get it done. Nice and smooth though set to High Quality on the Nvidia Slider.

Again those cars really look nice.

Michigan cars will be next on the list - but have to get these scripted and working first!!

Sorry for the hijack

No problem with the hijack, I've been looking for ore cars since I started this route...and those are perfect.

And then there is the Plan B option...

Where I get about 190FPS, where the range is west-er-fied and could be run on just about any Machine out there. What say you OH, Mighty Euphod!

More on the West-ern-ised way.

About 30% of the origional trees...mostly in the cuts...FPS 90-120.

Keeping the Board origional size. This will be my winter project.

What do you think? Only alternative is to go out an buy an I7 and go big on graphics and memory....

Now that looks nice.....I like that......Check your email :Y:

I wanna see an ore train on that route :)

We all know what happened to the "Norfolk & Western - Appalachian Coal" review when most people ran into trouble with their computer's digestive ability. If the route is for release, then to be wildly popular and accepted it should run with acceptable frame rates on the lowest recommended spec PC for the game.

That being said; it will look nothing like upper Michigan without the countless number of trees.

Pity Trainz; you can make any route and have it mimic the area you intend down to the last pothole and flower, but playing on that route is another matter entirely.

Yea, I'm looking at this on my 52" Sony Bravaria.

Or how ever that is spelled. I have my I7 with 16 gig of ram working on replacing all built in hemlock 03 with some grass I can delete in Content Manager, then go back to the route and say delete missing assets.

I think it would just be a lot simpler to say, "delete this asset from the route" and be done with it. It's been on it 4 hours right now that's why I'm on my HDPC posting.

I swear their are probably 40 million hemlock 03 on this route.

That being said, for future reference...on a blank board with track, I can get about 300FPS. With a 1000 trees in view about 200PFS. 10,000 about 100, 20,000 about 50FPS, 40,000 about 25FPS, 90,000 about 12FPS.

That being the limitations I have, then I have to deal with it. Is not the Quad Core I7 K2600 the fastest processor?

The only question I have it no matter what I ask these processors to do with this game it never uses any more then 13% OF the 4 processors. 87% does nothing, or is sent nothing to do by this game.

YOU GUYS SHOULD HOLD THESE CARS TIGHT.

Well . . . Minnesota Jennies are coming - as taconite mini-quads and raw ore singles. Maybe a month off. If I can get these working I might be persuaded to make Jimmies if there are really good pics.

WCL knows that I have been approached by NV3 on this route for a future release...no agreement, just approached...but still guys I haven't checked my email yet....But I acknowledge this as your copywrite on these assets.

In other words hold them close....and let's see what happens. I gotta banger multiplayer or single player game here, just need some content like you are working on here.

ie these things look bitch on my 52".

One suggestion though....on the wheel contact with the rail, run them at night..there must be no shine. Some of the RRmods stuff is like that and I won't run them. Dull & Ditry.

That Quad Core is still replacing Hemlock 03 with grass so I can delete the grass from the route, and then get back to the route and delete missing assets.

Serious flaw here...It only took 3 days to get to the Moon, for Christs' sake.

I just went over to the requests thread with this one. But no worries I've got 20+ backups of this route on my home network. It's just the time it is taking to do this.

Back in 2001 I wrote with my neighbor in our Basements the Software that Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Michigan still uses on their website. Why because them college educated spoon feed communists couldn't figure out.

Any case, I can't do nothing now...outside... because it's been raining. Supposed to Snow on Thursday...

But I picked up another Job for a park planting my trees after Thanksgiving. Good for me at 55 because my bases are covered for years to come. Forty years I've been working, on my own, with my friends...and I can honestly say. If I do any more from now on, it's just icing on the cake.

Yeah, we are suppose to get some snow here...I was hoping for a lot but not much...they calling for like 3-6 inches...But that is to the west of Green Bay.....Once ya get your sim back up....let me know...I got something to shoot over to ya for ya to take a spin on

But I urge you all to by Silver.

That's my advertisement... 11/8/11.

Or bullets....either way...sxit storm comming.

Let me do you something.

Some how in our talkings you are 28 years old. Let me give you wisdom that comes from age.

When I was 23, and going back to 18. Mininum wage was $1.60 per houre and gas cost .33 cents a gallon.

At 18 years of age Isreal had a 6 days war against the arab states. Gas went up to $1.40 a gallon in months. Isreal was using our weapons, and we paid for it. Right or wrong we paid for it.

Between, and sometime in my age of 18 and 23, we, Americans had to sit in gas lines, to buy no more then $5.00 in gas when going to a gas station at any one time. It was rationed.

Iran is loaded...history repeats itself. And the unprepared, are unprepared.

I'm at the point, if and when.....I don't give a sxit, I'll make a lot of money.
