The White Dashed Lines - Due to obsolete assets. Need to fix??

I have several (65) obsolete items in a downloaded route. Many are not needed but a few are used extensively. I changed the build number but the one I am focusing on (scrub2) is still obsolete. Ideally I would just like to replace that asset with another but the program thinks the dashed lines represent a track on an unknown type. Is there a way to make the program think a new asses is also the old asset. That is, can I keep the name and substitute some things in the script folder using a similar but new asset?

Some spline assets will revert to track type if they are not installed. I would have checked in CMP for any missing or out of date assets and then downloaded them first. Delete the route and then reinstall the route. Third party downloads do not update or download any missing assets used on the DLS
