The Sun Line

The Sun Line is the best route I have created in all of my Trainz Simulator history. It takes place in the southwestern United States, just a couple of months before Santa Fe's merger with Burlington Northern, in the summer time. Santa Fe and Southern Pacific both own the 30 miles between two fictional towns named "Sun City" and "Sunville", which are the terminal ends of the route. At both Sunville and Sun City are 8-track passenger stations that serve Amtrak trains #3 and 4, the west and eastbound Southwest Chief. Both towns also have a gigantic 42-track yard for Santa Fe and Southern Pacific. About halfway between Sunville and Sun City lies the great Sun Woods, a very big forest. The Sunwood Lumber Company operates the giant Lumber Mill and the Forestry where the Sunwood Logging Local stops to pick up logs for the Sunwood Lumber Mill, turns around, and drops off the logs at the Lumber Mill. The tracks emerge from the Sun Woods at Heat City, which is not a big spot on the route. Shortly after leaving Heat City, trains cross the Sun River, where it follows the tracks. After navigating the Sun Loop, trains cross the Sun River again. Alongside of some hills, the Sun River runs parrelel to the tracks. After about two and a half miles the tracks cross the Sun River for the last time, where the river branches to the left, away from the tracks. Shortly after, the Sun City skyline can be seen. A short 2 mile trip brings us to the western end of the route, Sun City. Passenger trains go left, to the 8-track terminal station. Freight trains proceed to the right to enter the 42-track yard.

The route is on the Trainz Download Station, and I have released two versions of the route, version 1.0 and 1.1. I have released a second version of the route to fix errors and problems. If you see anything that needs changed, you can post them to this thread and I will put these changes into Version 1.2, which will also be released on the Download Station. I hope you enjoy the Sun Line, and be sure to check out the many sessions I have created for it, as more will be uploaded often! Enjoy!

There is this one in Amtrak Session 3, and two in Amtrak Session 4. I notified amtrakrulez earlier. He said that the one for No.3 was the HTML.

He has uploaded the dependencies, they shoud be available tomorrow. (or in about 6 hours) I live in Auran's time zone, GMT +10, and I know that they usually do the collection and approval overnight, which is in a couple of hours.

Sorry about 453220:100025 and the HTML Pages thing. I asked for Auran to upload it, and it should be there soon. I hope this solves everybody's problem about getting it to work.;)
I hope you all enjoy the route and sessions

There are 12 items on the DLS with your KUID or username, but <kuid:453220:100025> missing one is not amongst them.

KUID Still Missing from DLS

Are you sure? When I went there I saw it

I downloaded and installed The Sun Line route and sessions, and as recently as yesterday, it is still missing the same asset. According to the config file, it is a Map. It is not on the DLS, nor does it appear anywhere when searched for on the web.

Not sure where you saw it - are you sure you saw :100025 ???

I'm having the exact same problem. I'm pretty sure it is :100025.

SAME PROBLEM HERE!!!

No reason to shout. That's considered bad in the forums.

You can easily fix the backward portal.

Open the route in Surveyor.
Disconnect the portal.
Rotate it around,
Save

Go to Driver and choose the now custom route and session.

Sorry to raise the dead here but... I'm having the same original problem with the "map" kuid. I have deleted the file and re-downloaded the file from the Download Station but still have no joy.

The following is the exact missing dependencycy
Unknown Location: <kuid:453220:100025>

I have a question for you about "Yard Mess" the 3 strings of cars the ones with the cofc's and auto racks are they to be switched into strings also, was woundering because each time I try to hook up the auto racks together I get a blue message screen with no message and my screen fades to black and the session ends. Other than that I love the switching that is involved. I need more switching sessions. Also ran your sunwood logging and found your wye tracks a bit tight derailed engines while doing abt 30 mph also you seem to have tight curves in the bloon track after loading logs in the logging camp.
