I've been getting this message a lot. Everytime I tried to read this thread, it locked up.

I'm completely confused by that statement Spiff, how can a computer programme sit on a box ??

I appreciate that one of your servers is in the USA, but, does Auran not have an I.T. room for its own servers in a nice, cool, air-conditioned environment to enable them to function properly ??

The message due to arrive now on server 1 has been delayed indefinitely due to a points failure. All passengers expecting to board this session of uninterrupted chit chat should rebook same time tomorrow. Normal service will be resumed when we find a new box to sit Trainz on.

Incidently, If you are having problems posting on the forum due to that pesky message, I sneaked on by using quick reply

Its nothing to do with the environment they sit in, the issue is that they are now sharing a box with a lot of other applications whereas they were on their own before.

We have also made some configuration changes that should hopefully reduce this problem now.

Give the lads a break, I'm sure they're doing their best.
After-all, they could shut down the forum until the problems is solved, it would be easier for them but I'm sure no-one wants that.

Agreed, Its an inconvenience that can be lived with for a short time.

Keep in mind folks like me were madly uploading 2 weeks worth of work (probably all at the same time, lo). That has to choke things up a but too.

Grrrrrrrrrrrr .. bought (again - after expiring) another year FCT. But server is all day and night busy .. sorry Auran but this suxs!! Hope they fix this very soon or does anyone has a another solution?
