The old Class 37 skin issue!

Learning... slowly!
Hi,

I'm having the old problem with class 37s downloaded from the DLS- I need to download the skin/texture thing from the creator's website but I've lost the link. Can anyone provide me with it?

Thanks!

Hmmm, I've downloaded it and checked it etc, but I've got the following red (x) errors:

Unable to load image file 'horncover.tga' for texture 'horncover-horncover.texture.txt' whilst validating mesh 'body.im'
Unable to load primary texture 'body/horncover.tga' for texture file 'body/horncover-horncover.texture.txt'.
Unable to load alpha texture 'body/horncover.tga' for texture file 'body/horncover-horncover.texture.txt'.

I think those files are included as part of the template files that are on pikka's site but because they're bundled as images for editing & reskinning rather than as a .cdp file I can't import them into trainz. Any ideas?

Thanks again!

If the horncover.tga files is downloadable as a tga file rather than a cdp just open the loco for 'edit in explorer' and drag the horncover.tga file into the asset folder

What are you clicking on with your mouse, don't point it at the images of the various Class 37's in different liveries, look to the right hand side of the page and under Reskinning there are 2 basemodel templates and a base model, click on the template that comes up as 37_reskin_template2 which is a zip folder, in fact the others are as well I think, extract all of the files from the zip folder to somewhere safe on your hard drive and you will see a horncover.tga and horncover-horncover.texture inside the folder.
To import these types of files that are not the usual cdp into your game, open up Content Manager click on the top left hand side of the screen marked File > Import content > then browse to the folder in the area of your computer where you have stored the files after taking them out of the zip folders and install them.

Good luck.
