I am a furniture maker and have used stone slabs. I get them from a local company that takes delivery of rough cut slabs. They store the slabs in their stone yard where I can look for the one I really like. They then take that slab into their shop and cut to size and polish it. Their business is 50% stone counter tops and 50% tomb stones.
