The long and winding Route and other works by EPO

Wow, very nice again, Dietmar!

Dont tell the murricans that there is a soviet truck in there. :hehe:
And a suggestions: the railroad bridge could use a fence. I recommend the FMA bridge fences.
:)

Hi all those shot are just WOW it looks like just looking out of the window at home
and that's what you see it is so real
when my wife saw these shots she thought that it was all real
she can not beleave that Trainz has got to this point
Then she said " How come you can't do that? "

So two things
1) how do I get my project looking like that
2) how do you get the frame around those pics

All of the work you have done is very nice indeed keep it up

Chris (cvkiwi), at first, thanks for your nice and kindly Words and the great Compliment from your Wife:).
To give an answer to your first Question is very difficult for me. I let me inspired from a Picture, a Film, a Book, a Song... to build my Layouts.
For my L.A.W.Route gives me the Beatles Song the long and winding Road ( one of my favorite songs that I like to hear:)) the Kick. I thinks when I heared that Song, about a long curved blue River between green Hills. The Route must be 50 Miles long and now I let work my Fantasy.
At first I formed the Landscape and then I build Baseboards for baseboards.

Btw.my BIG CITY Layout was inspired by the Model Railroad from Rod Stewart.

To give you an Answer to your second Question is simply. You can get the Frame with a Image editing Program. I use the old Payware Photoimpact11 Program and many Freeware Programs ( PhotoScape, Picasa3, Gimp, Photofiltre7 and IrfanView ).

Hope you understand my english Grammar;)

Nice Greetings

Dietmar

Goodness!

Goodness gracious! If my layout looked that good I'd just sit and stare at it all day instead of building stuff or running trains!

I've worked again at my third WIP Project ''Bronx Terminal''. It's a half real and a half fictional little Layout;). Here some new Pictures:)

André and PWeiser thanks for the nice Words:)

Epo, if those environments are all in the same route, I would run it, and run it, and NEVER get bored :hehe:

Phenomenal work!

Epo, your pictures are a work of art but from the vintage of your equipment you are missing one thing! Cabooses on your freight trains! Keep up the works of art...

is it meant to look like a book?

Chris S., Yes, from time to time I will show the most of the available F7 Units Versions for Trainz in my F7 Photo Book. I got my first F7 if I was a Child. It was a Santa Fe Model in HO Scale:). Since this Time I'm a great Fan of these Diesel Locomotive Model. Unfortunately I can never see these real F7 Diesel Locomotive in Germany:(.

Nice Greetings

They are gone from main line railroading but there is a nice ATSF at the California Railroad museum. Also Epo what is the name of the Ford convertible in your picture near the yellow VW?

KenRuof, the Ford Convertible is called SL_Ford_Fairline01. It's a Model from Lotharhake. I've got it from the HP Advent Calendar 2012.
