The Illinois Railway Museum Route

there will be more North Shore Line cars to follow after me and PWeiser finish a CTA car set first. But right now he is working on another Great Northern electric so be patient grasshopper. They will come in time soon.

Working the roof details on the Y-1 now. And my calendar for July just cleared up... cheers!

Hello Everyone, I just receive the news from N3V's Beta Test Team and unfortunately they could not find a fixable solution to the problem with the 3 giant holes on my route. But thankfully I have a backup solution to the problem, since the 3 large holes on the route are in a area far away from the museum, I can easily just refill the holes up again using the DEM of the route (I had before anything was laid out) and just merge those 3 baseboards back onto the route. It shouldn't be a big hassle. Once I fill in the holes, I will resume route work progress as soon as possible.

In the meantime 2 weeks ago I was running some of my IRM related content on JR's new Coal County route. Here are two screenshots from that.

1630 and two GP7's pull a mix freight train thru town.

Well good news, I merge the 3 missing baseboards back on the route with all of the scenery on it so problem Solved...

Well sort of.

Just before I deleted the baseboards with the giant holes in them I remember that you can copy and paste scenery assets using the Tool Menu. So I did that, deleted the baseboards and put back 3 missing DEM ones and paste the track and scenery assets back on again but when they were put back on they were slight off where they are suppose to be. But no harm there as I can simply just reposition the track and scenery back to their proper spots once I put back down the 2 missing google map assets down. Im glad everything worked out now, I can get back to work on the route.

Hello everyone, I just started working on the route once again. I re-added the missing Google Map Assets and I just finished re-laying the track work, then I have to re-orginizing the scenery back in place at Johnson Siding which has begun.

Lets take a walking tour around the museum to take a closer look at some of Bendorseys small (but Big) contributions towards the route so far.

Looking really good, sorry to hear about your Holes issue, but it sure sounds like you conquered the beast, I can see it was headache and lost time to recreate, but at least you found an alternate way to repair it.........You have a great team support your efforts and it really shows. Thank you for sharing with us.

Who's the person next to the turntable? :o
it's Lamp Post Linda. Don't ask why she is there as that is not my route, that route was made by Cascaderailroad. He would have a better idea why she is there. Thanks NormHart, glad you like the screenshots. I'm surprised people are forgetting about how big of a impact she had in Trainz back in the early years.

Just need to fix the roof and headlights.

Hello Everyone. Sorry for being a bit inactive on the project. Im taken a slight break from working on the route to work on editing on my videos I took over the 4th Of July weekend at IRM. Here is the video footage I took on July 1st.

I got two more videos to make from July 2nd and 3rd. (It feels good to be back to making videos for youtube after a 6 year absence since I lost access to my old youtube channel).

After I finish making the other two videos it will be back to work on my route.
