The Illinois Railway Museum Route

Excellent, looking forward to it. Plus small announcement, no work on the route today due to I have to work later today but I will be right back at it Tomorrow.

@daylightrain ok. I understand. It really is strange. My pc has most of the required PC specs to run T:ANE and is only missing 2 components. But it still runs at 10-15 FPS max. For TS12 however, I get around 63 FPS when I run the Mojave Subdivision. And on routes just started, it runs very, VERY smoothly. Same thing goes for T:ANE. I cannot run engines such as the K&L NYC S1b Niagara with a long freight train, that has low detailed content behind it, on the C&O Hinton Division, it will get around 10 FPS. I have a video I uploaded to my YT channel (Link is signature) and it barely ran smoothly. Just how the video shows, it ran exactly like that. My editor didn't screw anything up and neither did my recording software. This is getting a little off topic. I'll discuss it with you in private if you want.

@Matt3985 do you think your team could work on making the route TS12 compatible after the T:ANE release? I would really like that because I do not want to have to fix it up to work in TS12 myself.

Anyone wanna work on 3007 for this project?
latest

It is owned by the IRM.

I just want to give a quick shot out of thanks to trainz user "majekear" for making this excellent model of a Chicago Great Western MOW Crane Flatcar that is present in the IRM collection for me. He did a fantastic job on it and you can get it now on the DLS.

As to answer the question about the CB&Q 4-6-4 #3007, you will have to wait awhile because thats another item on my commission list for Steve Lerro but again you will have to be patient since I have another project I want him to do before this one when the time comes later down the road when more spots open up.

Hello Everyone, Sorry for the lack of progress that has been done on the route that has been done as of late, been very busy with personal stuff. But what has been done this week has been a lot of progress regarding rolling stock and locomotives. First we had "Majekear" for making that great model of that CGW MOW flat, well I ask him to do one more and he delivered again with another excellent model of a C&NW Flat car that is used for MOW service. Its was present in IRMs collection for a long time until just last year when it was sold to another tourist railroad. Here is the model (it will be uploaded to the DLS soon)

Thats all for today. One more thing thanks for ns2616 for making a new forum signature for me.

Nice signature dude. I would be glad to join this since I am getting into 3D modeling, but all I have done so far is a little box
:hehe:
I mean, I have been to the IRM, more times than I have been to Chicago. Especially how good the cast & crew of Chicago Fire did in S2E7. But cannot wait for this to be done!

Good morning everyone, Expect some progress on my route starting tomorrow. I again apologies for the lack of updates towards the route. Been very busy.

I can understand @Matt3985. I am working on a project (Will not be announced) but since my life gets in the way, the progress is VERY slow. Hope to see some AWESOME work!

With C&NW Heritage day coming at IRM I decided to take this screenshot of my C&NW models. Sadly I will be unable to attend this event at IRM due to my busy schedule. Oh well maybe next year.

Hello everyone, Got some stuff to show off today. So lets get started.

"Majekear" has finally uploaded the C&NW MOW flat cars to the DLS including one with stacks on it for things like pipe loads.

"ns2616" has finished making his second reskin project, this CGW Caboose. We are awaiting permission from PWieser to give us permission to release it on the DLS

Last, Coming Soon to Jointed Rail is this Covered Hopper that me and Adam Chilcote have been working on that I commissioned, it will come in Milwaukee Road scheme like the one that is at IRM (when it's fully restored) and in a few other railroad schemes. This will be a freeware asset. Big thanks goes to him for making yet another amazing piece.

Looking good everyone, I'm launching the IRM page for my website tonight and will be uploading an updated UP 428, an updated Tuskegee 101, Frisco 1630 and a Union Pacific caboose in 3 liveries. UP 428 recived some minor changes, a few texture fixes and the addition of IRM to the beginning of the name so it can now be found in the same place as my other IRM engines. I'm also updating its profile shot as I realized only recently that I spelled Union as "Uninon". Tuskegee 101 has recived some pretty major updates, those being additional parts more accurate to the prototype, an oil bunker and 4 engine and tender variants.

Thanks Daylight, did you get the PM with the Color photos of that #26 engine.

Plus I also came in contact with a guy who is working on modeling the Chicago North Shore Line for Railworks, (Well what does a guy who is modeling in Railworks got to do with my Trainz project) well he is also a volunteer at IRM and he had access to a bunch of rare exclusive drawings of electrics that are in IRM's collection. He sent them all to me so expect me and PWieser to be very busy.

I'd say that sounds more like PWeiser is going to be busy.
He sure will be because he just sent me even more drawings just now. I got enough drawings for him to do a full roster of several big Chicago Interurbans Railroads. Thanks for doing that UP caboose Daylightrain. You did a great job on it.

You have permission to upload the reskinned caboose! I can't keep my PM maibox clear enough to have one slot in which to send something out!

Looks good. Wonder if the crews disliked that one with black ends as much as they did the black-ended New Haven hacks? :o
