Hello everyone, Im going to make some more progress on the route today but before I go into that, while I was going thru IRM's vast collection of the Illinois Railway Museum's Online Newsletters (To gather up info for Bendorsey for a few things) I found this interesting story of a engine that had the shortest stay under Museum Ownership and that is Pere Marquette 1223

bf2c59bf6674e10d2a09481d36095e47.jpg

and here is the story which happened back during the year of 1981

So for just 1 day IRM owned 1223 and by the next day they lost it and the screenshot below is what could had happened if IRM actually got the chance to move the engine to Union Illinois.

Im telling you, there are a lot of interesting stories in these newsletters as well as important data and dimensions also hidden in these as well. without these newsletters my project would be a lot harder to do.

While I was working on my route today and review some upcoming surprises from Bendoresy, Trainboi1 aka Dan released his model of CB&Q E5 model of #9911A that also came with two coaches, (A RPO and a Observation Car) that are also present in the museum collection so many thanks to DAN for releasing some great looking pieces of rolling stock. Now I just need to get him started on the Nebraska Zephyr consist and everything should be good. ;):hehe::D

Good Evening everyone, I made yet again some more small progress (why all the small progress, because of two reasons, #1 is because what me and Bendorsey have been working on is a lot of the smaller items first now before we go back to the bigger structures and bridges. #2 is because I have to go thru the large archive of scenery objects to add such as rusty metal objects, to trees, and other things that are not custom assets. Here are some screenshots.

Starting to add old rusty parts in front of the steam shop.

The Storage Containers (Sadly there are not many weathered containers out there)

Working on what I call "Spare Parts Jungle" since there are a lot of rusty old parts all over this area and most of them are covered in bushes and heavy foliage.

More Fencing added to the parking lot

There are more things that we have done but I have not put them down yet so stay tuned.

Thanks Matt. Glad you like what you see so far. Im glad everything is starting to come together with all the hard work Bendorsey has done towards this project and to the many other who are contributing towards this project. I look forward to presenting this route towards the volunteers of this fine museum when I finish it down the road.
