The Illinois Railway Museum Route

I have also been working on an IRM route in TS12. It's nowhere near finished, but I visit the IRM frequently and am attempting to make everything a precise as possible. Admittingly, I'm a bit OCD with making the track precise, which is why it's taking long, but I hope to have the trackwork complete by the end of this year. I am using DEMS as well as Google Earth to measure and place the track. I have most of the grounds done. I just need to complete the mainline and ex CNW tracks. Then I'll add structures. I have a little (and I mean LITTLE) experience in gmax, but I have started a barn project and hope to make all the barns on the property. I didn't even see this thread until today, but now I'm glad I'm not the only one that has had this idea.
 
That's nice to hear I'm not the only one local to the area. Would you like to join my team and help me out. You will be a welcome addition to my team? :) If you say yes I will fill you in on the details.
 
Wow I had a look at the video's you put up its a very nice set up
Its just a pitty I live in New Zealand

Hello everyone, decided that its time for another public update. Ive been very busying researching stuff for the two museums on buildings and rolling stock and while I've been doing that our team has made some more passenger car skins from not just at IRM but from also various other cars (weather they have survived or been scraped) into Trainz and decided to include some other Tourist Railroad coaches into the mix that we are doing. Here are some examples that we have done.

In a week or two will be sending these out for beta. We are still debating on if we should put these on the DLS or on a 3rd Party site.
 
The bump map can only go so far. I'd adjust the colors, add weathering, add rivet detail, use correct fonts, and generally try and make them look less bright/overly saturated before releasing.

I'll be heading to the Tennessee Valley Railroad Museum tomorrow and I'll be riding their Summerville Steam Special, pulled by both 630 and 4501. Finally crossing it off my Bucket List! I've also reskinned magicland's PRR P85A streamlined passenger car into the TVRM's streamlined passenger cars, so this'll be an excellent addition to the roster.
 
I will see, I will have to take a look of it and see if its something that we can reskin that is available. Plus just to let everyone know If there is a certain piece of Heavyweight passenger stock that you want us to reskin, please send me a PM and we will see what we can do.
