The Frisco High Line

Not sure the trackbed could handle her weight though :hehe: In all seriousness, the Highline was kind of a backwater, and I somehow doubt it had heavy enough rail to support the massive hunk of Mountain-class steel that is the Frisco 1522 that we all know and love!

Oh no doubt. If Frisco would have run on the line the tracks would have probable been shoved in the ground from her weight.

Thanks solo!

Here's some new screenies. More F3's and F7's. I've made some small updates to them. These should be available at http://www.theerectinghall.info/ soon.

The F3's had a slightly different paint job. Running numbers were only about 3 inches tall towards the lower rear of the unit.

Nice work on the Frisco Units! I love the detail you've been putting into this route. Makes me feel like I'm actually lineside taking those screenshots myself!

I'll tell ya this though: we need the MKT F9B/F7B (I think it was an old -7 unit the Katy rebuilt into a -9) that spliced the two real-world versions of those John Deere Green F-units you did a while back: http://www.rr-fallenflags.org/mkt/mky75f-abp.jpg
(and you thought y'alld slip by without a Katy reference. From me? Ha! :hehe: )

Thanks guys. I'm glad you can appreciate the details. I probably add too many at times slowing the progress of this route. But man I love adding details... :)

It's all worth it in the end, this is a perfect example of "good things come to those who wait."

Wow now this is how to build a quality route. It's all about the details and it looks like you've got them all. I can understand why it's taking so long. Keep up the good work. Can't wait to download it when finished. How many assets does it have so far?

I couldn't tell you right now. My only pc that was capable of running Trainz crashed about four months ago. It's not going to make sense to repair the hardware so I'm looking for a new machine that will run TANE. I'm a little gunshy about sinking $1,000 into a new gaming laptop before the TANE requirements are released. So I'll grt back to ya on that.

Does the route actually go to Fort Scott? The route I have been researching for over a year goes from Fort Scott to Afton,OK.

No not to Fort Scott. There's a map on the very first page of this thread of what's include in the route. The thought of doing something in TANE including Fort Scott, KS and Nevada, MO has peaked my interest. In the past these towns included action from the MKT, Mo Pac, and Frisco. Today it's the BNSF and MNA (Missouri & Northern Arkansas).

Looks amazing sir. You're making homesick for Missouri.

Thank you. I hope you come back to Mo. soon.
