What Vinnie is working on is a SOO line rebuild of their GP9s called a GP15C.. C as in Caterpillar Diesel.

The model is complete. Currently, its off to texturing. I will be making SOO and a blank. I don't know if I'm going to do TC&WR/RRV&W versions or not.

Note:
The bell and horn is missing, but, that is because they will be done at a later time, on a separate mesh.


Total poly count: 22,036
There might be 1 or 2 things added here and there that I could have forgotten, but, that's approximately the count we're looking at.

Still no release date.

Did I learn mapping from zelda? Yes. Approx 4-5 months ago.

Did I learn basically everything else from Petrama? Yes. I did learn a few other things from zelda other than mapping, but, I completely forgot them. Petrama re-taught me and gave me other trix to play with.

I can confirm I taught vinnie and blake just about everything they know now lol.

Not completely my model, no idea what site the original mesh came from. I added new grab irons and other misc stuff then mapped and textured it.

Please take some time to review the CoC. Rule 13 in particular.

If issues aren't resolved by common respect for the rules or this hobby, then I'll intervene further.

TEH has plenty of great contributions to this community and therefore I ask for everyone's respect in keeping this thread clean. If you have any problems with another member, you clearly cannot bring it to this forum.

Mom told me once that if you can't say anything nice, don't say anything at all.

Indeed. Petrama has done a heck of a job teaching and Vinnie and Blake under his teachings have really taken off. Both show great promise!
