Trainzing since 12-2003
It's been awhile since I've posted some pictures of my personal route. Here we will see some mainline steam running, commuter trains, and a freight.

Two Commuter Trains meeting near Pembroke where the line goes from double to single.

Here's a run-through CSX Freight waiting at the signal at North Lynnwood for a commuter train to pass

More of the long freight waiting at the signal. Note the gravel train below. He'll have to wait at the junction, about 2 miles up for this train to clear so he can pull out.

Two T Commuter trains coming and going from Greenwood. The train pulling into the station came off the Riverside line that bypasses Granby and North Granby, calling at all stations except these two.

We have a little bit of mainline steam happening today. This is a railfan special, note the different cars. There's no diesel assisting today since this train has the observation car.

Here she is pulling into South Acton. She'll make a loop back through the Mountain Division to the Laurel Valley Ski Resort and start over, forming a loop. The ski resort opened up last year after the station was rebuilt. The existing line still hosts numerous run-through coal and merchandise freight.

That rail museum must be about ten thousand miles away :p

That's why they're at the rail museum. :) When I was a kid, I went to Steamtown while it was in Vermont. There were some British and German locomotives and rail cars sitting there amongst other equipment from around the world. This was before the collection was moved to its present location in Scranton, PA. When that happened a lot of the equipment was sold off because it didn't fit the scheme of the park.
