The Curse of Working strikes again

Well it happened again: missed a one-of-a-kind locomotive passing through Dalton. However, the locomotive was one of the Norfolk Southern Heritage Locomotives: ES44AC #8101, the Central of Georgia Heritage locomotive. It passed through here between 2:00 and 2:30PM on Friday, June 16th, 2012. My workplace is located next to the CSX and Norfolk Southern mainlines passing through downtown Dalton parallel to each other, and I have to be in the building I work in by 2:00PM. I was only able to hear the locomotive as it passed by and, unfortunately, not see it. However, my dad saw it, but was unable to take a picture of it with his iPhone. This was because the train passed through a railroad crossing in downtown Dalton framed by buildings on either side, so it just darted across the railroad crossing from behind one building to behind the building on the other side of the crossing. Hopefully I'll be able to see the same Heritage locomotive or one of the other Heritage locomotives. I really want to see the Southern-Painted ES44AC #8099; it's my favorite.
