My search for gas price brought me to 1955 at 23 cents per gallon and was 31 cents in 1965. So what I would do , at least keep both numbers 29 and put 26.9 for regular (the 6 is the upside down 9) and 29.9 for super which was probably the price in early 60's or late 50's.
