Don't yell at me, DME is owned by CP, which is Canadian. Thought I'd better get out and see the Blue and Gold machines before they all disappear.

A mid-afternoon CN coal train makes its way going Northbound rounding a curve during a thunderstorm. It was pouring like buckets!!

The Rapid City, Pierre and Eastern now owns DM&E I think. It's a G&W shortline.
Nope nope nope, G&W bought a bunch of the seen as unprofitable lines by CP that DME once had they also took some of the power as well.
Thanks, Rick, looking good yourself buddy, I try my hardest to up it each time, but man, progress is moving so slowly! Hopefully with a couple days off coming up next week, I can get some more work done.

Thank you Jack :).

Wow excellent route!
Where would one purchase or download such good locomotives? Or are they re-skins? Also where would I find the signal in this picture?:)

A whole bunch more fantastic shots. Erik, Chris, top-notch as always. It's a pleasure to see what you guys are doing.
Dragonharh, good to see how your route is progressing.
That is a cool shot from you CNSD40MRT.
Rick, I love seeing the shots from you. The K&L locomotives sure look right at home on your route. Thanks for commissioning them. They are a lot of fun to drive! DCC mode for me of course. I just slowly stall if I try to drive anything steam powered in realistic mode. Must be nice to be nearing completion of your route but you can always tinker with it. You'll have lots of time to drive your engines. Or maybe you'll start something new? I've got a slow day here (so far anyway) so I'm going to try to get a mile or two done on my route.

Have a good one guys!
Jack

Thanks, Rick & Jack! I'm planning on re-doing that shot and also thinking about opening a topic for my photos. If you're all wondering. The SD40's are from Jointed Rail reskinned by me and the bethgons are made from Davesnow customed painted by me of course.

Hi Rick; and all the others;
Great shots all. I had to hold up CP's end  of this thread. So from the froobie archives, we have a CPR 2-8-0 passing through View Royal on it's way to its next stop at Langford.

As some of you know, I broke my right arm and had it 'repaired' 50 days ago. I still can't use a mouse with the right hand, but the left is becoming very good. A down side is that in places Trainz needs two hands, spinning the [ key while texturing to get rid of the patchwork look, for example, I'm out of luck. But I'm practicing.

So I have decided, when I'm able, to move The E&N to P:ANE. In the meantime I'm messing with the built-in T:ane routes, Avery-Drexel to be precise. I might decide, as a result of my messing, to wait for L:ANE 2. YMMV

That's all from me today. Keep those rural shots coming please. :D

cheers,
--Michael.

THANKS :).

The locomotives are my own personal repaints, but the signals can be found here http://jointedrail.com/freeware/signals/safetran-smart-signals.html.

Looks like you did a good job reskinning those SD40s, CNSD40MRT. Keeping my eye out for another shot like the last one.

That's a nice shot from you Michael. I really like seeing what everybody is doing. The steam shots are terrific!

Nice ones from 64Warhorse. The Rockies sure do make a train look small like in the first shot.

And some more masterpieces from Erik. Beautiful!

Good to see a GP9 in CN colours, Dargonharh. If that's Rick inside the car, he must be smoking up a storm! The windows are sure fogged up.

Those are great shots from you as well Rick! You've really captured the feel of the era and area. Thanks for explaining the shots. It nice to know what the scene is all about.

This one of mine is just south of the CN mainline and about 6 miles west of the city.

Cheers,
Jack
