Here are some preview shots of my route, the route overview only shows Binghamton to below Ramsey, NJ but I'm extending it to Hoboken. I want to run 614 excursions on it.

Good luck with your route. That's going to take some time to build.

That's somewhat familiar territory for me. My uncle lived in Johnson City and I had another aunt and uncle that lived in Middletown. Sadly, the tracks through Middletown were gone when I visited them back in the mid-1980s. The line along Route 17 will be awesome. When traveling out to Johnson City back in the mid-1970s, I remember seeing long EL freights running alongside the highway.

The killer with this route will be the number of trees you're going to need in order to get the landscape to look right. This is one of the issues I have with my own area. As I said, good luck.

Yes, it is 123 miles from Binghamton to Port Jervis and 95 miles from Port Jervis to Hoboken. My route probably will be not as populated with assets to minimize stuttering and loading. The track, stations, roads and crossings, will be first and maybe trees. Binghamton will be last. I'm going to concentrate on the Suffern to Hoboken and the Suffern to Port Jervis segments first. It will be more modern NJT/Metro North and Conrail and NS era, 1980's and up. This is going to be a slow project. I will work on it when I can. Someone with the username Minerman made the Hoboken to Port Jervis route for the Dovetail train sim, it looks great.
