Don't give up that easy
2nd test of five
Win the next three and bob is your uncle;)

Cheers,
Patchy
I've been through too many pastings in Australia not to recognise one when it's happening.

By the way, Bob's my cousin, I've just written his Christmas card :-)

If it should happen that Mr Clark's momentary lapse of reason in failing to enforce the follow-on should lead to a drawn game then we might just have the last laugh yet. :-)

When driving a taxi in Launceston Tasmania, I had the lucki of taking Lillee, Thompson, Chappel and Marsh to their hotel from the cricket ground. Later I took them to the Casino for a night out. They were a great bunch of blokes.
cheers,
Mike

that's it, they all out. Didn't even make half-way through the first session.

Now for the WACA, that will fix 'em.....lol

The Fat Lady is up to temperature! Won't be long and she will be singing.
Have to say that Root & Stokes deserve credit for putting up a fight, they certainly did better than the 'regulars'.

Well done the Aussies another comprehensive win.

I think that certainly Joe Root is going to be a 'regular' if:

  • England want to be competitive now;
  • England want to regain the Ashes in 2015.

Not really been following this test due to a recent house move but well done to the Australians.

I suggest forfeiting the 3rd test England, the temperature is swaying our way

Jamie :)

England will prevail.

All we are doing is lulling the Australians into a false sense of security by letting them believe that are the superior team.

All we do is lose a few tests, and then come from behind and smash the Ozzies.

We should achieve this within the next 20 years. Cunning, but simple.:D

While searching for the 'Slow Train' by Flanders and Swann, I came across a tongue in cheek piece by the same performers that made me feel so much better about the cricket. ;)

A song of patriotic predjudice - Flanders and Swann
