The whole SOPA/PIPA/ACTA idea is horrible and really badly thought out. If SOPA had gone through, it wouldn't matter whether the site was American or not, so long as they had a US 'intellectual property', they could block whole site groups just by accusing with no proof.
Suppose someone uploaded an asset to Download Station, which looked like a copy of someone elses work. An ACCUSATION of copying could shut ALL of Auran's sites - not just DLS.
Look at the way Megaupload was shut with no consideration for all the legitimate people using it for backup!
That's why we have to careful what links are put up! Not give anyone ammunitiont o accuse us!

Looks like you've got your first customer!
I still think a blog will be better in the end, because this will probably end up as support for 'orphan' routes which authors aren't actively supporting. Unfortunately, the links can go out of date as people give up on personal sites or change ISP's. Some of the 'bucket' sites are blocking sharing now too. So links will change, and most recent post would give most up to dat info.('korikovaVL80' mentions how Russian sites can change overnight!)
The better route authors post news about non-standard Assets somewhere like a route announcement, and/or put info about it in the asset itself. The former is better, because it can be updated.
P.S. Is there room for an 'Anti Anonymous KUID League'? Half the time is spent trying to figure out what is the type/name of a Kuid.

There's a lot of their stuff on http://rrmods.com
Can't search for kuid's, so try forums. It took me ages to get registration form to work. I think Windows 7 & Firefox 9 eventually cracked it.

Try http://www.trainzproroutes.org
Couldn't find any content, but there's a couple of forum posts in 2005-6, which is the only activity I've been able to find!
Author 219472 - nikos1 - http://www.uslw.net
Again not searchable for kuid, but nikos1 is listed on the 'team'.

Unknown Location: <kuid:55290:12002> 'H62R Hopper CR1' from RRMods
Unknown Location: <kuid:55290:12004> 'H62R Hopper CSX' from RRMods
Again http://rrmods.com looks like a good bet.
Also http://checkrail.com/ek3_sessions.htm has direct links for the Hoppers on RRmods site.
Good luck.
