Tenbridge2 Liftbridge

Winglessbird

Hi,
Does anyone know who made up the Tenbridge2 Liftbridge. Its used in 2010 but I cant find any reference to it in the D/L station or in these Forums.Any help would be appreciated. Thanks Rusti:confused:

The bridge models are mine, and are quite old and are on the DLS, I didn't know they were now built in.

In TS2009/10 there is a problem with attached invisible track, Auran have moved the goal posts. I have corrected the models but cannot upload them until the DLS is accepting uploads again.

Any other issues let me know please.

Ian

G'day Ian,
I cant for the life of me get the bridge to show up in the DLS.If you can give me the kuid perhaps it will show up.What version of TRS did you make it for?

Thanks Rusti

Hi Rusti,

The model is for UTC. On the Download Station page look for Tenbridge and make sure you click the box for UTC in the search.

Hi Ian --

" ... I didn't know they were now built in."

I think I'm the culprit here. They are used by my routes that come in-built with TS2010.

They might be a bit on the older side, but they are still excellent pieces of kit.

Hello Phil

Not a problem, I have now seen it in your included routes, good work on the routes.

The models were built before the use of mesh tables, and then Auran added the tag useadjoiningtracktype

If this is missing or set to 1, any track on the model will update to a track that is attached in Surveyor. If this is set to 0, it stops that. Of course it was not available for my model as explained above, so the invisible track across the bridge changes to any track added in surveyor, not at all what you want.

The temporary fix is to attach some invisible track first, then delete it and attach the real track second - the track on the bridge will only update once ( to the invisible track) which is ok.

Al Barton reported it to me so I updated both bridge models to mesh tables etc but because the DLS is not processing uploads, I cannot send it up, I have had some other models there for a week awaiting approval.

I now see you have used the bascule bridge which does the same, so I will need to update that too. :)

Ian

If you open the bridges in CCP it will update it and add the proper tag. Just uncheck the box to keep it from using the attached track across the span.

This works for these bridges in TC and 2009.

Great bridges, use them a lot :)

G,dal Phil, your right about them being excellent bits of kit.I just realised why I cant download them at the moment.Just prior to Xmas Eve my normal Auran account (Aussierusti) went belly up,and of course I couldnt get it fixed so I had 2010 to register so I used the winglessbird name to register.Zec is still trying to sort it out at his end,but its a bit frustrating here.Regards Rusti
