TCM Gone

Trainz Commuter Rail is down. (Needs Renewal) Where are the downloads?
Yes, it will be renewed. I suffered a hard drive crash. It rolled over and died 1 hour after I bought a new hard drive to replace it.
No Joke. Anyone caught giving out the downloads will be banned without hesitation.

You have my deepest sympathy regarding your hard drive. I lost nearly everything about a month ago due to dead drives!

Thanks! I am almost back up and running with most of the stuff. The loss wasn't as bad as I thought. apparently I didn't lose everything because I made a back up at some point of my documents, pictures trainz stuff etc. When I did this I don't have a clue, but I discovered it on my secondary hard drive.. I lost the most recent things, however keeping some older stuff is better then flat out loosing everything.

I sincerely hope you get back up with little effort. I enjoy and visit your site a minimum of once a week.

I'm very happy for you! :) You were very, very lucky. My C: drive seized and my backup drive even though it had data on it initially, was corrupted. We tried copying the stuff off of the backup drive overnight because it was aroun 86GB. It wasn't worth watching the bits move overnight, but when we woke up the next morning, there was a BSOD on the computer where the data was being copied, and the datal drive was now blank. The directories were there, but when you accessed then, they disappeared! It was like they were fake!

In all of my 27 years of using computers, and over 15 years in MIS/IT I have never seen anything this catastrophic!

Wow that would defiantly be a major headache for me at work... It is bad enough when a person wants everything recovered off the hard drive and I have to sit there while it is doing it because of a lack of any other work to do at that particular moment in time.
P.S. TCR is back up.
