Tablelands route ???

Has any one started or finished a route for The Atherton Tablelands in Far North Queensland, Australia.
From Kuranda west.

I started something based on the railway down at Ravenshoe a while back, but it got deleted after falling victim to the spline detaching or some other bug. Maybe I will revisit it the project as most other Australian routes seem to have been done!

I am thinking of starting this project and I am just seeing what may all ready been done.
As this is very large route and I wouldn't like to re invent the wheel if some one else has already done part of these lines.
I think I read in an old post that Patchy may have started some of this some time ago but unsure.

Well it might be better if someone with local knowledge and plenty of time undertook the project. A straw poll shows the road distance from Kuranda to Ravenshoe as 120km which is a formidable distance, given the standards people expect in a finished route these days. It's also a long way to check and see if your splines have become unhooked at fixed objects. I'll hang fire for now and see what happens; plenty of other potential projects in the pipeline both from the UK and the wider world.
