Hi everyone . I have a problem with the TAB on my keybord while i make a thread .When i use the tab to make a new line it stays on his place. See this thread.
The Tab key won't create a new line. It won't in MS Word either, where it will indent.
If you want to create a new line in the Forum message box simply use the Enter or New Line key.
There are Increase Indent and Decrease Indent buttons available if that's what you want to do. Just float your cursor over the icons at the top of the forum message box and the explanation of each one can be seen.
I'm sorry thats what i ment : the ENTER key .When i press him he's not going to the next line.So it's gonna be one long line. I also tried MS office but he works there alright.
Have you tried both, i.e. the Enter key at the right of the numeric keypad and the New Line key (the one with the downward left pointing right-angled arrow) to the right of the alpha keys?
I too am a hermit. Hermits have nobody to make them fish soup or hang up their sealskins. They must protect themselves!
But on topic, that is a good idea I think. To stop mess working inside the keyboard. Cover it and seal it. Jam and yoghurt and soup find another place to lay!!
If you don't want to turn on Compatibility mode, click Settings at the top right, then click General Settings, then change the editor from Enhanced Editing Interface to Standard Editor.
