Saving a Filter in Content Manager

Great question!
Here's what I do to save a frequently run query...

1. Choose the combo boxes in the Search dialog box on the left panel of the Content Manager to create your query or enter a text string into the search text box.

In this example, I have created and saved a query for a frequently run query I use to clean up obsolete files after I have installed updated versions of those assets...

2. Then choose the "Save" command button below the list when you have run the query to see if it does filter the database to show the results you want.
The following "Save Filter" dialog box will appear.
3. Give the new query a descriptive name. In this case I've named it "Obsolete"

Then, "voila!" the new tab called "Obsolete" appears above on your Content Manager Tab List and clicking on it will run the query.
Cheers!
