T2 trainz: a new era

hello to all:

after reading the articles on kickstarter web site looks pretty good to me. the graphics looks sharp what I can see. but as far as building our own layouts, to put in track and industries, towns, rolling stock, and engines I just hope they kept some of the features from other trainz sims packs into the new trainz era. I hope they have something like the surveyor in the new version.

with sharp graphics comes with a poweful computer to support all of this. haveing multiple lines to run on a layout. that too will have a heavy hit on the graphics card and maybe on the cpu. oh yeah, do not for got about the updates and or the service packs tht will come with it once its been released for a couple of months.

to me, what I was looking at it looks great. but hey thats just me.

Indeed - a note though. T2 related things go in the Trainz: A New Era + Kickstarter forum.

Regarding the hardware though, it needs a DirectX 11 compatible graphics card, a quad core processor and a 64-bit operating system.

As for Surveyor, that's a core feature in all Trainz versions apart from the Driver editions.

P.S. If you do want to preorder/pledge, use the thread in Trainz: A New Era + Kickstarter with the word Paypal in it to get the correct link.

I better steer away from T:ANE then, because TS12 nearly pushes my laptop to the cliff.
