T:ANE (in development) screenshots...

Now that I have upgraded my computer I can happily run TANE with shadows and boosted up settings. Amazing the difference from before.
Here is Victorian Railways X31 & T357 working a Merriford early morning passenger service:

Wow, David, I love that B&W shot! I'm going to have to start Post-Processing that way just to see what results I can get...

Wearsprada, gotta love the attention to ground detail you have there! Is the apparent ground elevation change in the foreground due to DEM (or sculpting), or texture bumpmapping?

I've wondered how far bumpmapping can be "pressed into service" to provide detailed variations in ground height.

Well, this is just ground adjustment, but if talk about textures, those use normal maps.
Thanks! Now, how in the world do you get that great detail on ground adjustment?! Do you guys have tricks to get that fine level of detail? It seems that the Surveyor tools just aren't precise enough to reach the level of these outstanding screen shots I'm seeing. Great work!

Try manually adjusting the shader's or use ReShade 3.0 which offers a lot of different adjustments to sharpen the textures.
