T:ANE Driver Command Unable To Add

Hi All

A little bit of a problem this morning. Loaded up my route I am working on and went into driver setup and the Driver Command was not in the main list. Scrolled through the list in the little box and found it but it is in red and I cannot add it to the main list. It was working fine yesterday. I have rebuilt the database but that has not helped. Any idea what I could do next? Thanks

One possibility is that your copy of the Driver Setup Rule has been updated (e.g. you installed a route that came with the updated version). TANE can use assets with build versions upto and including 4.5. The latest version of the Driver Setup Rule has an asset build version of 5.0 which requires TRS19 SP5 and above.

Start Content Manager, locate the asset Driver Setup and see what build version your installed Driver Setup has. If the Build Version column is not showing in Content Manager just right click on a column heading, select Insert Column > Build Version.

For TANE SP4 it should show one (or more) of the following, all with Build Version of 4.5:-
<kuid:-25:1485> Driver Setup
<kuid:-25:1533> Driver Setup
<kuid:-25:1534> Driver Setup - the latest TANE version which is built-in.

If it shows any (or all) of the following:-
<kuid:-25:1564> Driver Setup
<kuid:-25:1580> Driver Setup
<kuid:-25:1579> Driver Setup
... all are Build Version 5.0 and will not run on TANE. All were installed from the DLS (which makes an unintentional update a strong possibility).

If the above is the case then try deleting the updated asset and then run a database repair. Your previous DBR may not have worked because an updated version of the asset was already installed.

What does Content Manager say about this rule? Is it faulty? If so what is the reason?
