System Requirements for Trainz 2009

I want to buy Trainz 2009 but I am not sure it will run on my computer. My computer has an AMD Athlon 64 processor 3200+ at 1.99 GHZ with 1 GB of Ram. Will it run Trainz 2009?

Yes certainly you should get the same sort of frame rates or better as you do with earlier versions of Trainz, but I'd take the memory to 2-2.5 gigs if possible. What sort of video card do you have?

TRS2009 can take advantage of dual and quad core cpus but runs quite happily on my P4 2.4 system.

It will run, but your settings will have to be low.

The equivalent P4 speed is 3.2 ghz which is above Auran's min and faster than my computer P4 2.4 which runs TRS2009 fine. Yes on complex routes it could be faster but it runs simple stuff without any issues.

It's buy one get one free today by the way. The download works fine its just a 2 gig download.
