P&LE pulls a set of empties through Wayne Tunnel near Morgan Township (thanks to Don49PLM for the tunnel!):

Moved the work crew back north again- completely OFF of the Mon Line as a matter of fact:

A W&LE mixed freight approaches the high trestle across the Mon Valley on the old N&W line:

A pair of old GP7s hauls manifest freight past a barge loader on its way to Newell Yard to hand off to the Monongahela RWY (still needs a little weathering on the geeps):

The old Monon line is now part of the rails to trails program in SW Pennsyvania. Some beautiful country there. The old Monon line used to have a sales office in the Park Building in Pittsburgh at Fifth and Smithfield.

The Monon was never in Pa. It was only in the the States of Illinois, Indiana, and Kentucky.

The "Mon Line" refers to the "Monongahela Line", not the "Monon Line".
