Surveyor + Google Earth

I am planning to recreate a large BNSF Grain line in ND. Can anyone tell me where to download the software (I'm unaware of the name) or the thing that takes Google earth "photos" and places exactly what is there on a surveyor map. Also if you have any details/ Tips for me they would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I think you are thinking of transDEM. It's payware but well worth it. Type that into the search forums box and I'm sure you'll find what you are looking for. I assume you are aiming to do something prototypical. Dr. Ziegler (geophil) has a website you can go to for help as well. I made some tutorials to help out as well. Good luck and enjoy!
