Sudden Frame-Rate Performance Drop in Trainz 2012

I bought Trainz 2012 and started with it yesterday. I had several hours of fun, exploring new content and starting to build a new and improved version of an old route in Surveyor. Everything was great until I started to notice the frame-rate and overall performance dropped through the basement. It seemed to happen quickly and now it's more painful to use than the 2009 version I had before. I'm running it on a Dell Inspirion laptop. I know laptops are not the best for Trainz, but 2009 was working well enough and 2012 started out working just as well, if not better. Why the sudden and sharp drop off is a mystery to me! I don't believe I added any assets that would cause it to choke and had no other indications of trouble (crashes, etc.). I rebooted but it's still so jerky and slow that it is almost unplayable!

Any clues as to why it's doing this? Any settings I should look at? If it is because of something I added, is there any way of telling which asset it could be? Thanks!
 
There is the possibility that power-management settings on the machine may be causing the processor to be running slower than it should be, especially if it is running on battery power.

Also check the Jetlog file for any reported errors.

Thanks guys. The laptop is running off the wall current (I just checked to make sure nothing got knocked out by accident!). But here's the Jetlog. I see some errors but don't know how to interpret what I'm seeing. Does this provide any clues?
