Hallo Trainlevel2,

I think your first question goes to me :-)
The PCC streetcars have been created by myself. Once impressed by some PCC videos at youtube I started this project long time ago. It also was just a side project where I spent a little time with it when I required a creative break from my Milwaukee Road Project. But now I am going to get this PCC’s finished and it will be released together with my large City Route (to provide a nice playground for the PCC’s) and the residential and office buildings I created especially for that City.

See some screens attached and find more at many different pages back in this thread.

Your’s TUME :)

Wow. I am definitely impressed. Those look exactly like the f-market ones i've seen in SF (speaking of which do you plan to make a in real life replica of the f-market tume?) and very realistic night mode! :)

Unfortunately, nobody seems to be interested in this thread:'(

It's a pity, because people miss your PCCs Tume.

But I have advanced in the same time with my layout. Simultaneously, I want to announce the upload of new buildings that I made for this route. Some can be seen on the screens - guess which. (Tip: new Paris and Spanish city buildings)

Sorry - I should comment - I allways check new posts here to see what you and tume have been working on...

Just a suggestion: have you see the tramway switches / levers by RW1HH? They would look better than the red levers.

Huh, not interested!?
Yes I am, very much indeed. There are lots of people who like urban rails, I'm pretty sure about that!

I am one of those, please keep on posting!

Greetings,
Ben

P.S. I've posted some shots, some weeks ago, and it's a pitty that I don't have so much time for Trainz these days :( If I had, I would post more! ;)

@thanks for your responses

I only wanted to prompt more feedback in this thread:cool:

btw, nice shots paul and mark

@paulzmay

Yes, I also got this suggestion in other forums. However I was still too lazy to change anything and I was pondering whether real levers would fit better to a "heritage" tramway a South American Metropolis, in which investments from municipal side were probably rare - we are writing the year 2010 and my city is still served by more than seventy years old tramcars:D.

btw. your overhead cables are as accurate as always. Which system do you use? Was it applied in the published Bridgehampton module?

I also follow your Bridghampton thread with every new post and I am also to lazy to write a comment:( I am sorry for this

@mark

Is this still your adapted Mittelstadt layout?

regards

Jean-Paul

I think that for much of your route RW1HH's switches (the ones without the electronic indicator) would look right. In many cities, a similar looking switch would either be spring loaded or operated with a lever that the conductor carried and inserted into a slot in the cover. Major junctions might have an exposed lever and a pointsman on duty to switch routes (or even a small signal cabin).

I'm using my own overhead almost exclusively now. The wires are released, along with the waygauges that assist alignment, and a selection of pole and arm assets. I'm working on a more complete set of poles and spans that you can see in a lot of my screenshots - there are already over 200 configurations, in 5 pole styles. All of the parts are drawn from a single mesh library to allow mesh-stitching and material sharing (they are therfore for TS09/10). I expect to upload at least the first of these before Christmas.

The published Bridgehampton modules (Hampton Mall and Bridgehampton Metro South) use my original pole & wire assets, together with overhead poles by other creators - they don't have the latest system.

Paul

p.s. Mark - superb as always...

Yes, I'm working on a new section of line which runs straight-on from where the route 1 branched left and ran alongside the roadworks to Winterhude Markt.

This new section of line I'm owrking on runs to a new terminus at the new elevated station as shown in the screenshots. This will be the new terminus for route 1.

I'm then going to totally re-develop the Winterhude Markt area (as I never really liked it). Route 3 will then run from Rodingsmarkt to the re-developed Winterhude Markt terminus rather than HBF.

Anyhow, enough of the banter, here's a few more screenshots of the new route 1 terminus ("Veddel" at the minute - but I might change this).
