Modula City Upgrade

I randomly decided to add an elevated heavy railroad to Modula city. Complete with a railway. What you see is what I was doing about ten minutes from me starting this post. I also am doing a bit of a tree upgrade to the route for a possible future release. Now I am working to group everything I am changing into a seperate layer from the route layer. The wonders of Trainz 12.

Here is what I removed from Little Boga Island

This what have added, Speed Trees. Namely the Tree DatePalm 01.

If I release this pack it will be using a number of items from Jointed Rail, some which are available on the DLS and the rest should be on the JR's download page.

This is the elevated Railway portion, it goes directly strait through the heart of Modula city. It is not meant for subways by any means, it is being used as bridge to give commuter and long distance passenger trains access to the rail yard I have placed across from the stadium.

If I decide to I will add an industrial zone directly west of the main island. I will be adding a new land mass to modula city to accommodate the train station complex. The lower tracks are intended for long distance and commuter trains, while the upper tracks will be for something in the category of High Speed rail. My goal is to expand upon the map and make it possible to seamlessly merge this one with Cabon city in the future( I do not own Cabon city at this moment so planning where the trains will approach from is a very difficult task at the moment.

For those wondering where I got the Subway kits from, they are available on the Download Station by the author under the name of austin316hockey (note that they are Trainz 09 and up).

I have 8 "U-Bahn Frankfurt Trainz 2014.zip.00X" files on my pc now but I'm unable to open nor to unpack them except the first one. I can open it with WinRAR but if I want to extract or open a file from it, it says the archive is damaged or has an unknown format.
Where do you get the locos?

Here my fictional transit system based off Modular City but expanded into a real life trolley/Elevated/bus system. Here is few scenes from around the city.
PCC on the 66 Line entering Hilly-South Bread Station.

A Rerouted 47 train at Freed Springs

A Rt 47 train in Christine County

Brand New Siemens cars. These closely resemble the S70 Avanto Trolleys here in America.

I personally wish I was good at 3D programming because I really want to make a SEPTA Kawasaki Trolley for this game. I really like those trolleys and my city would've had them in their own special specifications.

@Hert: Could you PM me please? I'd like to know some more information about your building methods and what content you use, because those streetcar layouts look excellent!

Hi Trizzy,

sorry for being too straight forward, but is this Siemens Tram available from somewhere? Even if it is a payware, i am pretty much interested.

Thank you in advance!

I like these two shots. I recognize your Glouster cars, which I rode on in Toronto and of course had many rides on the green R1 in New York City.

Who made the streetcars in this screenshot? They look Australian but could also substitute as classic New Orleans Perley Thomas trollies.

Thanks for all your compliments! I had some busy days, so sorry for the delay. Some screenshots of my other (one basemap) route:

Indeed, I haven't contacted the original author to release this reskin. It is a reskin of German Kassel's Regio Citadis tram, to the livery of RandstadRail (lightrail network nearby The Hague, the Netherlands).

Nothing is available yet. The route is a bit too large (about 60 kilometres) and some parts are very ugly. Perhaps I will release a part of the route.

but do you now where the tram is aviable?
(I really like the Regio Citadis)

Hi,

I am very interested in your tram... any chance I can have it or have the link to the original? Also, a little suggestion - the destination bar text should be expanded a bit. It looks hard to read by the looks of it.

Hert: This is the second screenshot I've seen with the streetcar resembling a New Orleans Perley Thomas type trolley in it. Is this available for download anywhere?

Looking great everyone!

Long time ago.. time to post something new :)

Excellent work and scenery! Which tram and track are these? This is as close as I'd get to a good looking LRV for my Phoenix METRO route until I bite the bullet and model my own :p
